Former Michigan State baseball player Bill Mansfield, who played for the Green and White in 1954, 1955 and 1957, has been inducted into the Madison, Wis. Sports Hall of Fame.
Mansfield posted a career record of 3-4 in his three seasons at MSU and played an integral role as a freshman on the 1954 squad that took third place at the College World Series as he went 3-0 and posted a 2.57 ERA.
