Representatives from Michigan State University and the Synergy Medical Education Alliance will hold a media briefing Monday, Nov. 10, to announce the details of a new partnership between the university and the Saginaw-based health care system.
The briefing will be at 10 a.m. in the Le Grande II Room of the Four Points Sheraton Hotel, located at 4960 Towne Center Road, Saginaw.
Expected to participate in the briefing are Terrance Lerash, CEO and chairman of the Board of Trustees, Synergy Medical Education Alliance; Lou Anna K. Simon, provost, Michigan State University; Glenn Davis, dean, MSU College of Human Medicine; state Sen. Michael Goschka; and state Rep. James Howell.
The officials are expected to provide details of a new agreement worked out between MSU�s College of Human Medicine and Synergy Medical that will allow the college�s third- and fourth-year medical students to continue their training in Saginaw.
