Arrival routes
Because of highway repair projects under way in the Lansing/East Lansing area, fans coming from out of town should expect delays and allow extra driving time. Please be patient and follow traffic routing instructions to ensure that you get to the game in a safe and timely manner. Game day traffic information is provided by WJIM-AM (1240) and WJIM-FM (97.5).
- East
Those approaching campus from the east (I-96) are advised to take the Okemos Road exit. You will be routed from Okemos Road and Jolly Road to the shuttle parking areas located near Farm Lane and Mt. Hope Road. Parking in these areas is free; the round-trip shuttle bus ticket costs $2. Fans with parking passes should follow Jolly Road to Hagadorn Road and go north to Shaw Lane. Enter campus on Shaw Lane and proceed to your designated lot.
- West
Fans traveling to the football game from the west side of the state should follow I-96 to 127 north and exit at the Jolly/Dunckel Road exit. Go east on Dunckel Road to Forest Road. You will be routed to shuttle parking near Farm Lane and Mt. Hope Road. Parking in these areas is free; the round-trip shuttle ticket costs $2. Fans with parking passes can follow Forest Road to Harrison Road and go north on Harrison to Shaw Lane. You may be directed onto campus at Wilson Road or Shaw Lane if the traffic flow is heavy. This will still allow you to reach your assigned parking area.
- North / South
Fans traveling to the football game on 127 (north or south) can exit onto Trowbridge Road. This route typically gets heavy traffic and may be congested because of the normal traffic flow in the area. Another option would be to take the Kalamazoo Street exit. Fans with parking passes may want to use the route closest to their assigned parking areas.
Parking
Michigan State University has abundant public parking available to Spartan fans. All parking areas open at 7:30 a.m.
- Public parking
Convenient public parking is available on campus; cost varies between $5-$10. Parking on Munn Field (alcohol-free) costs $10. Free parking with $2 shuttle bus service is available in Lot 89 (corner of Mt. Hope and Farm Lane) and in the lot next to the MSU Pavilion on Farm Lane.
- Handicapper parking
Handicapper parking is available in Lot 48, south of the Natural Resources Building. Parking in this area costs $8 and includes a shuttle ride to the northeast corner of the stadium. A handicapper permit is required. The shuttle starts two hours before the game and runs until a reasonable time after the game. The shuttle bus from the stadium back to the handicapper parking area is accessed from the north end gates.
- RV parking
Parking for recreational vehicles is available along Stadium Road at the southeast corner of Wilson Road and Stadium Road and in Lot 59 (the Physical Plant lot). Lot 59 is within sight of last year's RV parking location. Cost is $20.
