Spring 2025 Conversations on Antisemitism and Islamophobia

Conversations on Antisemitism and Islamophobia launched in spring 2023 as a continuation of a previous MSU Dialogues program.

Continuing this year, in the four-part series, faculty experts will discuss the history and current manifestations of these prejudices, which occur globally, nationally and on college campuses.

Throughout the series, discussions will center on incidents that occurred globally, nationally and within the MSU community. Participants will have the opportunity to share their observations and ideas that will contribute to the inclusivity of MSU.

The meeting times are:

  • Jan. 17: 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Case Hall, JMC Library Room 332
  • Jan. 24: 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Case Hall, Club Spartan Room 338
  • Feb. 7: 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Case Hall, JMC Library Room 332
  • Feb. 21: 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Case Hall, JMC Library Room 332

There is no cost to participate and attendance at all in-person sessions is requested. It is recommended that you register, and a complimentary lunch will be provided.

Student participation may be used as an Honors Option. Faculty and staff attendance may be considered for annual reviews and promotions.
