Before starting his journey at MSU, Vedant Gupta spent the majority of his time running his celebrity media company Global Kid Media, which he founded at 11 years old. Despite being rejected by several colleges, MSU recognized his real-world experiences, allowing him to thrive through programs like the Summer Business Institute, SPARK, and business coursework, while continuing to grow as an entrepreneur, speaker, and author.

Georgios Pappas became the first graduate of a dual Ph.D. program between MSU and the National Technical University of Athens, earning degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering through an innovative partnership between MSU and NTUA.

Third-year Honors college student Megan Ransler represents MSU as a nationally competitive Udall scholarship nominee. The scholarship provides $7,000 and will allow connecting with other scholars at the annual program orientation.
Victory for MSU Law at regional moot court competition
Three MSU law students showcased their advocacy skills, defeating top competitors during a series of moot court competitions at the regional level. They then proceeded to finish in the top 16 out of 54 teams at the 14th Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition.
Graduate students bring mental health expertise to the Michigan community
A group of psychology graduate students are using their expertise to help make mental health resources more accessible to the greater Lansing community. Their initiative will help diversify the clinical psychology field by encouraging students from underrepresented backgrounds to pursue careers in mental health.
Student view: Taking on a national role
Jasmine Felder, a second-year law student at MSU, will begin her term as the 58th regional chair of the Midwestern Region of the National Black Law Students Association and will begin her term on April 1, 2025. To prepare for her role she has been recruiting board members and planning events while remaining active in several MSU law organizations.
