Pfeiffer joins Girls on the Run International Board of Directors

Karin A. Pfeiffer, Red Cedar Distinguished Professor at Michigan State University, joined the Board of Directors for Girls on the Run International in July 2025.

The international non-profit “designs and offers empowering after-school programs that help girls in grades 3 to 8 build confidence, increase physical activity, and develop essential life skills like managing emotions, forming friendships, and making intentional decisions.”

As part of the Board of Directors, Pfeiffer will engage in activities such as development, oversight of operations and fundraising. Her appointment runs through June of 2028.
