Michigan State junior women's golfer Katie Lu was named an honorable mention All-American by the Women's Golf Coaches Association, or WGCA, on Friday afternoon.
Lu helped lead the Spartans to an NCAA Championships appearance this year, the third in the last four years and the 14th under head coach Stacy Slobodnik-Stoll.
Lu is the ninth golfer to earn All-American honors and this is the 15th All-American for a Spartan under Slobodnik-Stoll. She is the first MSU player to earn All-American honors since Allyson Geer-Park and Valery Plata earned honorable mention honors from the WGCA in 2020.
