With more than 50,000 students and 12,000 employees, parking permits are required on MSU’s campus to maintain safety and support infrastructure needs. The money from parking permits is used to:
- Resurface pavement
- Fill potholes on campus
- Fund general infrastructure needs
- Maintain lots (e.g., snow plowing)
- Fund free bussing on campus
