Students make their mark by signing their names on the MSU Rock. The Rock is a tradition that dates back to 1873, when it was given as a gift by the graduating class. Functioning as a painted billboard for students to inscribe messages, advertise events and more, it is a vibrant sign of life on campus that gets repainted almost every single day.
