Members of the MSU community gathered to recognize Juneteenth at the 2024 MSU Juneteenth Commemorative Celebration on June 14 at the Breslin Student Events Center. With the theme of “Acknowledging the Journey: Freedom, Resilience, Empowerment and Liberation,” Spartans gathered to observe the holiday with an evening of community, cultural enrichment and entertainment, including guest speakers, performances, a vendor fair and a special Afrofuturism exhibit.
