Hosted by the MSU Zeta Delta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and the 2024 MLK Student Committee within the 2024 MLK Commemorative Committee, the MLK Commemorative March invites the MSU community to come together to honor King’s legacy. Due to freezing temperatures, this year’s march looked a little different than that of years past. Instead of the march from Beaumont Tower to the construction site of the planned multicultural center, the march took place at IM East. Photo by Derrick L. Turner.

A reminder of the impact of the Civil Rights Movement on future generations, Michaela Gladley read King’s iconic 1963 “I Have a Dream” speech at the 2024 MLK Commemorative March.
