Michigan State University senior Caitlin Kaleta describes herself as a goal-oriented animal science major who loves being a Spartan.
“The Big Ten experience was something I took for granted pre-COVID, and now I just want to absorb every moment I can in the student section,” she says.
An Ann Arbor native, Kaleta is a former member and medalist of Team USA in synchronized skating. At MSU, she continues to pursue this passion.
She also is a proud member of the executive board for Mixed MSU, a student organization that raises awareness and provides a space for multiracial, -cultural and -ethnic students.
“The people I have met and the support system I have built here make me feel at home. It’s everything from my skating team to study groups. Everyone makes me feel like I belong here.”
