Michigan State University junior Alex Johnson spends her free time singing, learning languages and working out, especially when her exercise routine takes her outside.
“Nature is amazing!” she says. “I love the chill, laidback vibe of campus and all of the beauty that surrounds us. It makes me feel at home, along with the lifelong friends I’ve made.”
A nutritional sciences major with a Spanish minor, Johnson plans to attend medical school after graduation to pursue her career goals of becoming an emergency room doctor and a nutritionist. In the meantime, she’s happy making memories at MSU.
“I’m proud of being able to survive school during COVID with a good GPA and an amazing group of friends. I am a huge people person, and I am always looking to make more friends in MSU’s tight-knit and friendly community.”
