Sanjay Gupta, dean of the Eli and Edythe L. Broad College of Business, has been elected to the AACSB board of directors. On July 1, Gupta will begin a three-year term alongside 30 others, including peer deans from business schools like those at Indiana University, Johns Hopkins University and Texas A&M, as well as higher education and business leaders from around the world.
“Business education, and higher education in general, is undergoing very significant changes from a whole host of dimensions, including changing preferences of the student body in how, when, where and what they want to learn; changing expectations of employers in the knowledge, skills and preparation they expect in our graduates; and the continuing reductions in state funding of higher education,” said Gupta.
