After a two-year hiatus, the largest international celebration of the year is back. Global Festival is returning Nov. 13 to the MSU Union. The event takes place from 1 to 5 p.m.
Global Festival seeks to engage students, MSU faculty and staff, and the greater Lansing community of all ages in learning about the many cultures represented by international students at MSU.
Students prepare country-specific exhibits featuring cultural artifacts and information, while live performances highlight traditional music, dances, and martial arts from around the world.
International souvenirs are for sale at the World Gift Shop, opening an hour early at 12 p.m., where all proceeds benefit international student scholarships.
The MSU Union is located at the corner of Grand River Avenue and Abbot Road. Global Festival is free and open to all. No registration is required to attend.
