The Spartan Statue watches over campus. The original Spartan Statue was commissioned in 1941 by President John Hannah and was made out of ceramic by artist Leonard Jungwirth. Snowy conditions only highlight the beautiful collegiate gothic style of Yakeley-Gilchrist Hall.
