On the second day of the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships Sophia Franklin and Wade Walder picked up first and second-team All-American honors, respectively, at Heyward Field in Eugene, Oregon on Thursday.

This was the best Spartan finish in the decathlon since All-American Tim Ehrhardt finished sixth in the 2018 championships.
