Fisher honored with CoSIDA Achievement Award

Michigan State assistant director of athletics communications Kara Fisher has been named the 2020 recipient of the College Sports Information Directors of America, or CoSIDA, Achievement Award.

The Achievement Award is annually presented to one associate or assistant media relations director in the University Division and one in the College Division who has made outstanding contributions to the field of college sports information, provided exceptional service to their institution or conference office, and has 10 or more years of experience in the profession.

In addition to her invaluable contributions to the MSU athletic department, Fisher is a longtime member of the CoSIDA Academic All-America committee and is also a volunteer mentor for CoSIDA’s new Mentorship program.
