'Breathe Easy: Tobacco and nicotine cessation program' begins Feb. 26

"MSU Breathe Easy: Tobacco and Nicotine Cessation Program" is a free tobacco, nicotine and vaping cessation program featuring behavioral support and medical evaluation for MSU faculty, staff and graduate assistants and their adult-benefits-eligible family members.

Breathe Easy participants receive support to quit tobacco and nicotine products with the choice of prescription medications, nicotine replacement therapies or using no medication at all.

Employees are not required to use their own time to participate in the program, as long as they are compliant with program participation requirements. Supervisors are encouraged to allow release time to facilitate participation in the program.

The Spring 2020 Breathe Easy Program begins from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26  in Room 113, Linton Hall.

To register for the "MSU Breathe Easy Program," faculty, staff or graduate student employees or their adult benefits-eligible family members should contact Health4U at (517) 353-2596, send an email to Health4U@msu.edu by 5 p.m. Feb. 24 or fill out this form.

The MSU Breathe Easy Program is the result of a partnership between MSU Human Resources and the Office of the University Physician.
