Blockbuster theatrical show 'The Illusionists' comes to Wharton Center

On the heels of a highly successful multi-city tour and run on Broadway, the world’s best-selling touring magic show, “The Illusionists – Live From Broadway,” will play at Cobb Great Hall at Wharton Center for Performing Arts at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Feb. 8 as part of its 2020 North American tour. Tickets for the show start at $36 and are available at whartoncenter.com, at the Auto-Owners Insurance Ticket Office at Wharton Center or by calling 1-800-WHARTON.

Full of hilarious magic tricks, death-defying stunts and acts of breathtaking wonder, “The Illusionists” has shattered box office records worldwide and thrilled audiences of all ages with a mind-blowing spectacular, showcasing the jaw-dropping talents of the most incredible illusionists on Earth.

The show is produced by Simon Painter, Tim Lawson, MagicSpace Entertainment and The Works Entertainment.

The 2020 tour features David Williamson, The Trickster, who has appeared on “Masters of Illusion" and PAX TV's World Magic Awards special, where he was awarded Comedy Magician of the Year; Valentin Azema, The Elusive, who has a limitless passion for the art of magic; Jonathan Goodwin, The Daredevil, who has performed stunts that defy logic including being hanged, buried alive and burned at the stake. Chris Cox, The Mentalist, is a multi-award-winning 'mind reader who can't read minds’ and the star of BBC’s “Chris Cox’s Mind-Boggling Magic and Killer Magic”; and Hyun Joon Kim, The Manipulator, who is regarded as one of the most masterful sleight-of-hand artists in the world.
