UAB announces dates for 55th Annual MSU Spring Arts and Crafts Show

The University Activities Board is proud to present the 55th Annual MSU Spring Arts and Crafts Show. The show will take place May 18 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and May 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will be held on the outside grounds of the MSU Union near the corner of Grand River Ave. and Abbot Rd. Admission is free!

The MSU Spring Arts and Crafts Show is one of the largest arts and crafts shows in the state with over 320 booths. This year’s show includes many returning favorites as well as brand new artists. There will be a broad range of exhibitors selling handmade items such as candles, furniture, jewelry, home and yard décor, aromatherapy, clothing, children’s toys, painting, photography, pottery, sculpture and much more.

Complimentary parking is available on campus for shoppers at the Grand River Parking Ramp. MSU Concessions and the MSU Dairy Store ice cream will be available as reasonably priced dining options, and restrooms are available on site.

The biannual craft shows are fundraisers for the University Activities Board programming budget. All crafter/artisan fees collected for both shows go towards offering free programs for the Spartan community at Michigan State, which is planned for students, by students. Programs include bi-weekly craft nights and open mic nights, and late-night programs such as UFest, Last Spartan Standing and bingo.
