The No. 20 Michigan State women's golf team came up one stroke short on Sunday in the final round of the Lady Buckeye Invitational. The Spartans finished the tournament 17-over-par-881 (288-294-299), one shot behind 11th-ranked Kent State's 16-over-par 880 (293-291-296). MSU shot an 11-over-par 299 in the final round, while No. 11 Kent State shot an 8-over-par 296 at the OSU Scarlet Course.
