The Spartan faithful will have the chance to cheer on the men’s basketball team with fellow fans Saturday evening at a watch party on the video board at Munn Ice Arena.
MSU plays Texas Tech at approximately 8:49 p.m. in one of the NCAA Final Four semifinal games. A victory would place them in the national championship game on Monday evening to face either Virginia or Auburn, who play earlier Saturday at 6:09 p.m.
The doors will open at 8 p.m., and the game will be shown on the scoreboard’s big screens. Admission is free, and concessions will be available.
Attendees are asked to enter through either the East or West entrances (North and South entrances will be closed). No bags will be allowed into the arena. Parking will be available in Lot 62 West and Ramps 5 and 7; see maps.msu.edu/ for more information.
Organizers ask attendees to arrive early to get through security before tip-off. The building will close one hour after the game ends.
Leaders from MSU and East Lansing are urging fans to celebrate safely as they cheer the Spartans on. For more information about celebrating safely, including a message from Coach Tom Izzo, visit the MSU Celebrations Committee website.
