Creating culture change through collaboration summit

The Creating Culture Change Through Collaboration Summit is providing a platform for faculty, staff, and graduate students to come together and share ideas around navigating our current campus climate. The summit is focused on topics around relationship violence and sexual misconduct.

This free summit is being held on March 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kellogg Center. Continental breakfast and a plated lunch included.

Registration is FREE. To accommodate busy schedules there will be an option to register for just the morning sessions, just the afternoon sessions, or the full day. Summit RegistrationThe morning sessions will primarily be focused on challenging power and privilege in different areas of campus. The morning sessions will: look at defining power and privilege, how this plays out on our campus, and challenging climate to prevent workplace sexual harassment.

The afternoon sessions provide an opportunity to engage in dialogue about creating a "culture of care" on our campus. Afternoon sessions will: define "culture of care", explore ways to create and improve climate to better support survivors, examine how culture of care has been implemented in a MSU department, and conclude with an expert panel discussion.
