Spartan women drop 4OT heartbreaker to Indiana in B1G Tournament

In the longest game in Big Ten Tournament history, the No. 10-seeded Michigan State women's basketball team dropped a four overtime heartbreaker to No. 7-seeded Indiana, 111-109 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis Thursday in the first round.

The game was also the longest in Michigan State history topping triple overtime games in 2016 and 1991.

Indiana's Amanda Cahill drained a pair of free throws with three seconds remaining in the fourth overtime to put the Hoosiers up 111-109. After a MSU timeout, the Spartans were unable to get the game-tying basket as IU held on for the win.
