‘Reflect and Connect’ provides guidance during challenging times

Reflect and Connect will be offering a session for MSU faculty and staff to connect and find support as a community. The upcoming session titled “Building Community: A Moment of Pause” will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Feb. 8 in the Lake Huron Room located in the MSU Union.

A separate Reflect and Connect session for MSU students will be offfered from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Feb. 13 in the MSU Union Ballroom.

Reflect and Connect is a series that provides an opportunity for MSU faculty, staff and students to come together to examine the impact of contemporary national and global events/tragedies and provides a space to explore best self-care/work-effectiveness strategies.

The intent of this upcoming session is for people from the community to come together and have an opportunity to share their experiences, express their feelings and talk about how recent events are affecting them personally and professionally. Resources and self-care strategies will be provided.

The session will be facilitated by staff from the WorkLife Office, Employee Assistance Program/Health4U and other campus experts.
