Michigan State University will host the 2018 Global Festival from 1 to 5 p.m. Nov. 11 at the MSU Union. The festival will feature country-specific exhibits that offer cultural artifacts and information, while live performances will highlight traditional music, dances and martial arts from around the world.
The Global Festival seeks to engage students, MSU faculty and staff and the greater Lansing community in learning about the many cultures represented by international students at MSU. International souvenirs will be for sale at the World Gift Shop, opening an hour early at noon, where all proceeds benefit international student scholarships.
The MSU Union is located at the corner of Grand River Avenue and Abbot Road. Admission to the festival is free, with free parking at the Grand River Ramp.
