MSU Extension director highlights partnerships in new podcast series

Jeff Dwyer, Michigan State University Extension director, released his podcast, Partnerships and Peninsulas, on Monday. The new podcast series highlights the organization’s partnerships and initiatives.

Three episodes have been released as part of the launch, with plans for additional episodes to be released on the first Monday of every month.

Throughout the series, Dwyer will travel across the state, and as the name implies, both peninsulas, in search of inspiring stories of the difference MSU Extension and their partners are making in Michigan communities.

The first three episodes released are a mix of traditional programs and programs that respond to emerging Michigan needs:

  • Why Veterans Matter – Adam Ingrao, MSU Extension specialist and former U.S. Army soldier, makes sure no veteran is left behind.
  • Living the 4-H Life – Features Julie Chapin, former Michigan 4-H state leader and director of MSU Extension’s youth development branch.
  • Growing resources for farmers – Suzanne Pish, MSU Extension educator, shares her story of helping farmers and those who work with them to access resources during stressful times.
