Make a natural wreath for fall decor

Learn how to create natural wreaths for decorating this autumn season at the W.K. Kellogg Biological Station, or KBS, with a special workshop.

The workshop will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 9, in the KBS Carriage House Classroom, located at 3700 E. Gull Lake Dr., in Hickory Corners.

The Corn Tassel Wreath Making Class will be a chance for participants to create a beautiful fall wreath that can be displayed indoors and outdoors. If properly taken care of, wreaths can last for several seasons.

This workshop will give participants the chance to learn from fellow participants, as well as experienced designer and owner of Gull Lake Landscape Co., Sherri Snyder. This class requires no previous experience.

The cost for each event is $45/participant or $40 for current KBS members, which includes all supplies, although bringing your own shears or sharp pruners and garden gloves is recommended.

Advance registration is required.
