Jessica Lange Dance returns to Wharton Center

Jessica Lange Dance returns to Wharton Center to mesmerize audience members for one night only, Thursday, Jan. 24. This graceful and fierce company showcases a genre-bending style of dance that balances the crispness of ballet and the innovation of contemporary dance.

Comprised of four diverse pieces, this performance is a breathtaking experience that captures the raw beauty of music, movement and visual art. Tickets are on sale now at the official source to purchase Wharton Center tickets online, whartoncenter.com, at the Auto-Owners Insurance Ticket Office, or by calling 1-800-WHARTON.

Inspiring audiences on an international level since their inception in 2011, this New York City-based company is committed to empowering and engaging minds. Nine dancers strong, Jessica Lange Dance blends visionary design elements with spellbinding choreography. This company performs their diverse repertoire at premier venues including the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts and Jacob’s Pillow.

Wharton Center is proud to present this evening’s performance, "This Thing Called Love," which is an exquisite tribute to Tony Bennett: his artwork is projected during choreography set to his music. The evening will also include the ballet styled "Lyric Pieces," a new work titled us/we, and "The Calling," one of their signature numbers.

This stellar company will be disbanded this upcoming April after seven strong years. Do not miss your last chance to see the incredible Jessica Lange Dance.
