This year’s 25th anniversary edition of Garden Day is from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. on Aug. 4 on the first floor of the Plant & Soil Sciences Building.

The MSU Horticulture Gardens are largely self-funded and events such as Garden Day serve as fundraisers to keep the gardens open. Garden Day is a one-day annual event.

Each year there are nationally-acclaimed keynote presenters and attendees select their favorite workshops to attend throughout the day.

Tracy Disabato-Aust, a 40-year veteran in the gardening industry, will be this year’s keynote speaker. Disabato-Aust is an award-winning garden designer, international speaker, best-selling author and world class triathlete with a passion for plants and design.

In addition to two keynote presentations by Disabato-Aust, guests will enjoy their choice of two workshops, garden tours, a book-signing, morning coffee, lunch, materials and complimentary parking.

Guests will also have the opportunity to peruse the Green Garden Marketplace for plants, books, garden accessories and other items.

To register, click here. Cost for the event is $86.
