College of Music presents a revue of musical talent

The Michigan State University College of Music will kick off the MSU Federal Credit Union Showcase Series, “A Fairchild Fanfare,” at 3 p.m. Saturday in MSU Auditorium’s Fairchild Theatre. The show features different corners of the college, including jazz, new music, opera and chamber music.

Included in the program will be works for piano four-hands, woodwind quintet, marimba, jazz octets, viola/piano, brass quintet and more. With a variety of instrumentation and types of performances, there are selections for every taste.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors ages 60 and older, $10 for students with ID and anyone under 18, and can be purchased online, at the College of Music box office by calling (517) 353-5340, in person at 333 W. Circle Drive, East Lansing, or at the door.
