The funeral service for former Michigan State hockey coach and athletics director Ron Mason was held June 16 at Munn Ice Arena. The service included eulogies delivered by MSU President Lou Anna K. Simon; friends Brian Gilmour, Ted Sator; Miami Sr. Associate Athletics Director Steve Cady; MSU hockey athletic trainer Dave Carrier; MSU men’s basketball coach Tom Izzo; and Mason’s grandsons, Tyler and Travis Walsh.
