Michigan State University Human Resources will release the refreshed EBS Portal in July and August.
Improvements to the portal’s design and navigation have been made based on feedback from MSU employees, in conjunction with findings from usability studies. Changes to the portal intend to improve the overall user experience.
Application and process navigation will be simpler in the refreshed portal. Function and appearance within many applications will remain the same, but applications that are changing will function more efficiently.
The refreshed portal also comes with new, advanced features. One is a search function which will link keywords with processes and applications. Another feature is a robust in-application help network that will allow users to access training documents and step-by-step tutorials.
Many in-depth resources related to the refreshed EBS portal are available to the MSU community, including in-person and online road shows where users can learn about the changes and ask questions. Road show dates, times and locations are available on the Go2Gateway project website.
