As the community celebrates Martin Luther King’s legacy and college classes are cancelled, CATA will operate services as usual on Jan. 19, with the exception of several routes that serve the MSU campus.
MSU campus bus service will operate at a reduced level on MLK Day and follow the weekend schedule with Routes 34, 35, 36 and Lot Link. Service starts at 9 a.m. and runs until 2:30 a.m. Buses will run every 30 minutes while Lot Link requires a phone call to (517) 432-8888 to request a ride to or from parking lot 83, 89 or 91 and another campus location.
- Route 23-MSU/Okemos/Haslett-buses running between 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. will run every 35 minutes rather than every 25 minutes as they follow the schedule for MSU breaks and holidays service.
- Route 25-North Harrison-buses will run every 60 minutes rather than every 30 minutes throughout the day and evening with service to Ramp 5 on Red Cedar and Trowbridge.
- Route 26 Abbot/Chandler-buses will follow the Friday Spartan Service schedule, with buses departing Ramp 1 on Shaw Lane every 10 minutes most of the day and concluding at 11:15 p.m.
- Route 12-W. Michigan/Waverly/LCC West will serve LCC’s west campus and downtown routes will continue to travel to LCC’s main campus as usual.
