Bringing arts to local students

MSU’s Wharton Center for Performing Arts recently hosted some local schoolchildren at a performance of the Dance Theatre of Harlem as part of the Act I School Series. The performance was the culmination of a program that included volunteer docents visiting the classrooms and the opportunity to learn dance from a master ballet teacher.

The MSU Federal Credit Union Institute for Arts & Creativity at Wharton Center enriches lives by strengthening the value of the arts in day-to-day life through participatory lifelong learning programs throughout the state.
