Movie Screening: Growing Cities
6 to 8 p.m., April 8, MSU Union Multicultural Center

Students for Sustainability will screen the documentary film Growing Cities on Wednesday, April 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the MSU Union's Multicultural Center. The film examines the role of urban farming in America and asks how much power it has to revitalize our cities and change the way we eat.

Integrated Network for Social Sustainability Conference

The annual Integrated Network for Social Sustainability (INSS) Conference provides attendees with an opportunity to discuss how social sustainability can be incorporated into a variety of domains (planning, business, government, academic, arts, etc.). Learn more.

MSU Surplus Store's spring bike sale
9 a.m. to 2 p.m., April 11, MSU Surplus Store and Recycling Center

The MSU Surplus Store will host its first big bike sale of the year on Saturday, April 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bikes come in a range of styles, models and condition. Bikes will be available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Bats of the World
1 p.m., April 18, MSU Library's North Conference Room

Join the Organization for Bat Conservation, the MSU Libraries and the MSU Science Festival for a fun and educational session on the Bats of the World. The Bats of the World session will be held on Saturday, April 18 at 1 p.m. in the MSU Library's North Conference Room.

Bicycle Information Open House
Noon to 2 p.m., April 22, MSU Library's Reference Instruction Room

The MSU Library Environmental Committee will host a special Bicycle Information Open House on Earth Day, Wednesday, April 22 from noon to 2 p.m. in the Main Library’s Reference Instruction Room. The open house will give students, faculty, staff and community members the opportunity to learn about local area bicycling organizations including MSU Bikes, the Lansing Bike Co-op and the League of Michigan Bicyclists.

MSU Bike to Campus Breakfast
8 to 10 a.m., May 15, Brody Square Dining Hall

Join other campus bike riders for a free breakfast on National Bike to Work Day, Friday, May 15, in the Brody Square Dining Hall.
