Opening ceremonies for Olympic Day start at 9:30 a.m. on July 18 at Demmer Center. After the lighting of the torch, activities for adults and children will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Adults may participate in archery, air pistol and air rifle shooting. Children may win prizes and awards from dinosaur crossbow shooting, air rifle shooting, shot put, javelin, discus or curling.
A triathlon of running, archery and air rifle shooting will take place at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
A meet and greet with past U.S. Olympians will take place throughout the day.
Judi Brown, silver medalist of track and field in the 1984 Olympics, 1988 hockey Olympian Kevin Miller, 1984 archery Olympian Glenn Meyers and many more will be in attendance.
