MSU Extension invites 4-H families, volunteers to a day with the women's basketball team

4-H families and volunteers are invited to attend the MSU Extension 4-H Day with the MSU women's basketball team at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 2 at the Breslin Center.

More than 5,400 fans affiliated with MSU Extension and 4-H attended the game last year, leading to the fifth highest attendance record in MSU women's basketball history.

The ninth annual event recognizes 4-H programs in Michigan and celebrates the group’s participants. 4-H’ers can show their pride by wearing MSU Extension apparel and recite their pledge at half time. MSU President Lou Anna K. Simon also is expected to attend the game.

Gate D will open at noon for 4-H members and their guests. Admission is free for 4-H and MSU Extension families, but tickets are required and must be reserved by Jan. 27.

Some county MSU Extension offices are coordinating group transportation for attendees. Contact your local MSU Extension office to reserve tickets or inquire about travel arrangements.

Breslin Center parking is free for all school buses. A $20 fee will be required for all other buses. Parking for automobiles is $5.
