IT Services to hold seminars May 6-7

MSU IT Services coordinates MSU Seminars in Research and Instructional Technology in the spring and fall.

The spring 2014 seminars offer two days of no-cost workshops on May 6-7. These seminars are open to faculty, academic staff and graduate assistants (teaching and research).

Participants may choose from a variety of sessions over two days designed to support teaching and research at MSU. Seminars provide hands-on instruction on research tools, Learning Management Systems, library resources, software training and more.

Morning sessions are from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Afternoon sessions are from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. May 6-7 at the computer labs and classrooms on MSU’s campus.

Choose from one to four sessions over the two-day period. There will also be full group luncheon both days from noon-1:15 p.m. in the Union Ballroom with speakers. All sessions will start promptly at their scheduled times. Faculty and academic staff enroll via EBS and graduate assistants enroll by calling the IT Services Support Desk at (517) 884-3000. The deadline for enrollment is May 2.
