Young athletes can boost performance with SNAPP camps

The Spartan Nutrition and Performance Program invites young athletes to train smart this winter.

Participants will improve their physical performance, mental skills and nutrition with a holistic approach to athletic excellence. The winter session includes a general Speed and Athletic Enhancement program, a Baseball Performance and Throwing Program, a Good Form Running for Distance Runners camp and a program in ACL Prevention and Performance for the Female Athlete.

Training sessions are open to athletes from ages 10 to 18. Interested athletes should apply now as space is limited. Programs start Jan. 13 and continue through March. Prices vary by program but most one-hour sessions cost $18 or less.

For more information or to register, visit SNAPP.msu.edu or call 884-6133.
