MSU professor named American Chemical Society Fellow

MSU chemistry professor Xuefei Huang has been named a fellow of the American Chemical Society, the world’s largest scientific society.

The title will be given to 96 distinguished scientists who have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments in chemistry and made important contributions to ACS.

The 2013 fellows will be recognized at an induction ceremony during the society’s 246th national meeting.

Each fellow will receive a lapel pin and a certificate at the ceremony. It will be held 2-4:30 p.m. Sept. 9 at the J.W. Marriott in Indianapolis.
