After storms swept across the Midwest Nov. 17, many trees are toppled or split. Dealing with damaged trees can be a difficult - and sometimes dangerous - task to tackle.
To help home owners, associate professor of horticulture Bert Cregg wrote an article explaining how to deal with storm-damaged trees. Helpful tips include checking for downed power lines around fallen trees and avoiding “door-knockers” who volunteer to removed damaged trees.
