CTSI requests applications for cystic fibrosis research

MSU’s Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute is requesting applications for basic research to cure or control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life of those with the disease.

Funding for the selected projects comes from Hunt for a Cure, a nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness and research funds for cystic fibrosis, which recently donated $110,000 to MSU to support research projects. Since 2009, Hunt for a Cure has contributed $400,000 to MSU for cystic fibrosis research.

A letter of intent is due June 17, with a full application due by July 15. The request for applications and further details are available online at https://ctsi.msu.edu/funding/cysticfibrosis.
