The Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum’s design was presented to a forum of 2,000 architects from 68 different countries at the World Architecture Festival Oct. 2-4 in Singapore.
The presentation was given by MSU Infrastructure Planning and Facilities Engineering and Architectural Services Director Dan Bollman.
The World Architecture Festival is the largest awards festival for the global architecture community. It includes seminars and workshops that address the economic value of architecture, energy-conscious architectural designs, shared values of architects around the world and more.
The Broad Museum took second place in the culture category.
“The Broad Museum presentation resonated well with the judges and generated a lot of discussion,” Bollman said. “This was a wonderful chance to highlight MSU and the Broad Art Museum before a global audience.”
