EAST LANSING, Mich. — WKAR’s Ready to Learn Service will host a free “Raising Readers” Family Fun Workshop from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, at North Elementary School in Lansing.
The workshop is targeted to families and children ages 4-6, although siblings are welcome to attend. Participants will take part in activities that are fun but also offer a new way to build reading skills.
Registration and a pizza supper are from 6-6:30 p.m. The program is 6:30-7:30 p.m. Families attending will take home a free book for each child with learning activities for children and adults to do together.
The workshop is free, but space is limited and registration is required. Please register by March 26 by calling (517) 755-1710.
