Wharton Center announces 2012-13 season

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Wharton Center announces the 2012-2013 season, marking 30 years of offering hosting performing arts.
Wharton Center’s season offers Broadway shows and an array of performing arts. To celebrate this important anniversary, Wharton is also highlighting five signature events which represent the broad spectrum of Wharton's diverse presenting history.

The highlights of the MSU Federal Credit Union Broadway at Wharton Center Series includes "Anything Goes," "War Horse" - a signature event, "Billy Elliot" and "Catch Me If You Can."  Special events also include the Blue Man Group and Green Day's "American Idiot."

The 2012-2013 Season also includes performing artists such as Sheryl Crow - a signature event, comedian Lily Tomlin, Kennedy Center honoree Sonny Rollins - a signature event, the BBC Concert Orchestra, opera star Renée Fleming, dance illusionist company MOMIX and Ladysmith Black Mambazo.

Wharton Center is pleased to announce the return of its World View Lecture Series. The MSU Federal Credit Union Institute for Arts & Creativity will present a selection of theatre and educational opportunities.
