On Oct. 4, the seventh annual endowed lecture in American Catholic thought and culture will take place at Michigan State Univeristy. The lecture, titled "Health Care, Bioethics and Justice: Where are the ‘Catholic’ Political Proirities?," will be presented by Lisa Sowle Cahill.
The lecture is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in Gold Rooms A and B of the MSU Union Building and is open to the public at no cost. Free parking is also available at the Grand River Avenue Parking Ramp between Morrill Hall and Olin Health Center.
Cahill is a J. Donald Monan Professor of Theology at Boston College. She has taught at the college since 1976.
The endowment is sponsored by MSU College of Arts and Letters and the St. John Church and Catholic Student Center.
