No CATA bus service Easter Sunday

Lansing, MI— In observance of the Easter holiday, Capital Area Transportation Authority will not operate service on April 24. This applies to all CATA fixed-routes and Spec-Tran service that typically operate on Sundays.  CATA’s Spec-Tran phone lines will remain open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Easter to accept reservations for rides after April 24. 

Several additional service changes are in effect on April 23 as explained below:

Route 1-Downtown Lansing/Meridian Mall—The last trip will have buses departing the CATA Transportation Center at 10:45 p.m. and Meridian Mall at 11:25 p.m. and conclude service at the CTC at 11:55 p.m..

Entertainment Express – The last full trip will depart downtown Lansing on Washington Square at 11 p.m.. The trolley will travel to downtown East Lansing and return to Washington Square to conclude service for the evening at 11:30 p.m. in downtown Lansing.

Route 26-Abbot/Chandler and Late Night Service—The last bus departs Michigan State University at 10 p.m. en route to Chandler Road apartment complexes. Service concludes when the bus returns to MSU at 10:35 p.m. Route 26 Late night service will not operate.

Routes 32, 34, 35 and 36—The last round trip on each route will depart the MSU-CTC/Ramp 1 at 10:35 p.m. (Route 32 at 10:45 p.m.) Service on these four routes will conclude when buses return to the MSU-CTC/Ramp 1 after making this last trip.

Lot Link – Service will end at 11:30 p.m. April 23 and resume at 3 p.m. April 24.
