Call for 2011 Clerical Technical Recognition Award nominations

Nominations for the 2011 Clerical Technical Recognition Award will be accepted until 5 p.m. May 20. The winner will be profiled in "Source" and will receive the award at a special recognition reception. The winner also will receive a monetary award of $1,000 in recognition of his or her outstanding service.

Criteria for the award include:
• Respect of his or her peers and continuous diligence in attending to his or her daily responsibilities
• Concern for students, faculty, staff, and colleagues in their respective units, particularly (but not limited to) those assisting overseas U.S. students and faculty, international students, international faculty, etc.
• Extraordinary and significant contributions to the community or public service
• Innovative thinking in facilitating unit tasks and responsibilities

Individuals may be nominated by any member of the university community. To nominate an individual a nomination form must be completed and a minimum of two support letters (maximum of five) by Michigan State University colleagues must be included. Additional information may be included if it supports the applicant’s nomination. Nomination forms are found under the HR News section of the MSU Human Resources website.
